Haven’t done anything fancy with this port this time around. What I like about the X5 Rom is that it allows you to easily change your watch face as using the ClockSkin engine. It also does not use distractive backgrounds behind your notification, SMS, settings menu etc, but instead is set to black background, with the exception of third party menu listings. It has a great round dial pad but an annoying T9 SMS keyboard.

Benefits of this Rom

- Battery life not as efficient as KW88

Returns
Returns will be accepted for up to 14 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
- Received the wrong item
- Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging)
- Item had defects
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
Does all the SIM card function work? It’s important to me.
Yes. Indeed it does! When it comes to this line of similar hardware, there is not a lot that does not work; once booted.
Before flashing, is there a way to make a backup copy of the original firmware? Just extra insurance if we ever want to go back. or at least let us know where the procedure is to make a full image backup.

well I flashed the unit (LF16). First the display is upside down. So I could not really test it. Can this be fixed please. Can not navigate because the touch screen is inversed also.
This Rom was ported using a LF16 therefore it does work with the correct orientation! I will install this again myself to verify.
As promised I re-installed this Rom to a LF16 using a “Firmware Update” option within Flash Tool, and orientation appears to be correct!
Sorry, I did it twice and the orientation is wrong. My touch screen mapping is OK but the display is upside down. Impossible to navigate.It is like have working. I would like a refund since it does not work on my LF16. I reflashed the stock rom and the orientation is back to normal.
Hi. Sorry to hear this is not working for you. As I said, this rom was ported using a LF16; which is the same watch as yours. By doing a complete firmware update you are replacing everything on the watch even the bootloader! If you still have a problem with the orientation then it would make sense to simply ask me to provide you with an alternate version.

I did notice a while back that you had in fact posted a link to your original Rom on Proboards, and yet you were asking me for the Rom???
An update is now available for download. This update will address the orientation issue you are experience on your watch. This file includes both regular and flipped screen orientation files. Please follow the “Readme” on how to re-flash the “system.” Download using your original download link.
Hi . Have you got the sensors working
Hi. It appears that the sensor ports to some of my watch’s however it is not working on the KW88 at this time. I will hopefully have it working by the next release.

Oh and another issue I noticed. Is that when the screen timeouts after 15 seconds, before it tirns off, there is a bright white flash as if the full white brightness is displayed for a fraction of a second, really annoying. Not sure if there is anything that can be done with that on your side.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m thinking that some bugs could be attributed to some of the apps I removed. I will be updating this port on an ongoing basis, and hopefully bugs can be weeded out by the next update.
Let us know when the next version is available and that the pedometer and heartbeat sensors are working, It would be nice to have them back working.
Great. I will continue to use it as is. It is still far better than the original rom setup. Was the video I posted helpful to see the flashing when the screen turns off? Also on your version of the LF16, do all the sensors work?
